To find out whether insurance will cover part of the cost of your evaluation and treatment of ADD with a particular doctor, find out first from the doctor, not your insurance company, whether the doctor you have selected is in your insurance network. If he is not, call your insurance company and see if you have “out of network” coverage, and if so, how much coverage you have.
