Here are four cases from my practice to illustrate in general how I carry out treatment of adults with ADD. Other clinicians may vary from my approach in the frequency with which they see patients, the medications they use, and the extent to which they use other treatment methods. Patients should not base their decisions about their treatment on what they read here. Those decisions should be made in collaboration with a clinician who has personally evaluated them and assessed their unique needs.
